Pazhayannur Lions Club is a part of the global service network of the Lions Clubs International which is the world's largest service club organization having 1.4 million members in more than 48,000 clubs worldwide. Headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, Lions Clubs International has a history spanning over 100 years of community service.
Our purpose is to help people in distress through local community projects. As lions motto suggest, we are, as part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our communities. We take active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.
The Fellowship of Lions
Pazhayannur Lions Club has the unique distinction of being the only club in the District to have had three of its members awarded MJFs (the Melvin Jones Fellowships) when the club was just three months old. The club is a two time winner of the International Club Excellence Award and scores of other awards!
It is our highly service-minded members' unmatched integrity and energy with which we could render a considerable number of humanitarian services in the past and it will be our endeavour to take our performance to greater heights in the coming years.
