Lions Club Pazhayannur was chartered in the year 2013. Ever since then, we have been fulfilling our purpose through a wide variety of services that meet the needs of the local communities as well as the international goal. Essentially, our primary focus has always been on fulfilling the needs of our fellow citizens.
This photograph was taken from a far away location at Pazhayannur on Monday, 09 August 2021. Our Lions are seen with this lady who is a migrant worker whom we meet every month during 'Relieving Hunger' services and deliver her food materials, clothing, other essentials etc.

RELIEVING HUNGER
We know this does not solve all the problems of the world! But we are trying to address one of the most pressing problems of the world!
In 2015 the global community set 'Zero Hunger' as one of its sustainable development goals, aimed at upliftment of people who are in distress due to lack of food. In the same year we set "Reliving Hunger" - the Lions' mission, as our 'signature project' and started providing hunger related services to the communities. ...Gradually it gathered momentum and today we are supporting at least 20 needy families of our community through this program.
Caused by socioeconomic backwardness, hunger became one of the biggest problems in the world. We believe it can be solved with our collective support.
